The Bitter End
A stunning ‘Alexander’ fan video that condenses over three hours of high-strung drama into the length of a brilliant Placebo song.

ET Online interview on the red carpet
[Colin Farrell 2:15 - 2:25]
Interviewer: Settle the rumors for me, man. You’re kissing a lot of people, right?
Farrell: I’m kissing nobody, man.
Interviewer: Angelina, Rosario…what’s the rumor? Settle it right now.
Farrell: Noooo…it’s just me and Jared. Just me and Jared.
Interviewer: Ok. Allright. Good.
[Jared Leto: 3:15 - 3:35]
Interviewer: And what’s up with the color. Do you like him blonde or brunette, what’s the deal? What do you think?
Leto: [laughs] I like him however he comes, you know. I’m a fan all the way across the board.
Interviewer: You guys worked really close in this movie. Did you guys have a special bond at all?
Leto: We did. We got along famously. I’ve met him before this, so I knew that he was a good guy and had a great heart.

Placebo - The Bitter End
Subtle imagery is not one of Oliver Stone’s strengths.
We have here the infamous vamp Queen Olympias dressed in the reddest of red dresses. Nothing good can come of this. King Philipp’s alarm bells should’ve set off when he saw her. But we all know his eyesight wasn’t the best. Or was he probably red-green color blind? It’s hard to tell. He was inevitabely kissed to death by Pausanias, also dressed in red, shortly after this.
Next to Olympias, who is having a blast though she keeps a straight face, we see the reason her son just won’t pay attention to all the pretty maidens at court. Who can blame him? With his seductive weapons exposed to the Macedonian sun, Hephaestion is ruling them all. Not only is he prettier than all of them, he is also a better wrestler. That is unbeatable in Alexander’s book. Sorry, girls!
